“Fudaba” was the ticket office where after the completion of the daily river crossing around 6pm,
the river tickets collected from the “Kawagoshi-Ninsoku”(river-crossing workers) were cashed.
During the cashing in, 20% of the total amount exchanged on that day is deducted and accumulated.
This accumulated money was used for bonus payments to officials and river-crossing workers,
as well as for the operating and maintenance costs of public buildings such as “Kawakaisho”.
